Electricity contracts built around how your business runs.
We take your usage to market, negotiate the terms, and match the contract structure to your load, your budget and your appetite for risk.
Talk to Strategic Client ServicesEnergy procurement is how your business buys electricity in the Texas deregulated market. You choose the contract, the term and the structure. Those choices decide what you pay and how much market risk you carry.
We handle the whole process. We study your usage, take it to market, negotiate the terms and lay the options out side by side, so you can decide with confidence.
Your renewal runway
The best contracts are rarely signed in the last few weeks. Starting early gives us room to watch the market and lock when conditions are right.
Every offer, side by side
Same start date, same usage, same format. You compare the terms, not the sales pitch. A sample of how we lay it out:
| Option A | Option B | Option C | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Term | 12 months | 24 months | 36 months |
| Structure | Fixed | Block & Index | Fixed |
| Start date | Same for every offer | Same for every offer | Same for every offer |
| What is fixed | Energy charge | The locked block | Energy charge |
| Pass-through costs | Listed in plain English | Listed in plain English | Listed in plain English |
| Our read | Shortest commitment | Most flexible | Longest budget certainty |
Layout example only. Your options depend on your usage and the market on the day we price.
Four contract structures, one recommendation
The structure matters as much as the price. We price the options side by side and tell you which fits your load.
FIXED
One price for every kWh, every hour, for the whole contract.
See how it works →BLOCK & INDEX
Lock a set amount every hour. The rest moves with the market.
See how it works →PERCENT FIXED
Lock a share of what you actually use. The rest floats.
See how it works →INDEX
Buying at market price. The most flexible option, and it moves with the market.

When should I start shopping my renewal?
Earlier than most people think. Starting 6 to 12 months out gives us time to watch the market and lock when conditions are right, instead of taking whatever is available at the deadline.
What's the difference between fixed and market-based contracts?
A fixed contract sets one price for the whole term. Market-based structures lock part of your power and let the rest follow the market. We explain each one above and price them side by side.
Does it cost anything to have you review my contract?
No. Send us a recent bill and we'll review where you stand.
Will my power be interrupted if I switch?
No. Your utility still delivers the power over the same lines. The change happens on paper.
